The sixth RMB Turbine Art Fair is back, once again at the iconic Turbine Hall from 12th to 15th July 2018 with a VIP Opening Night, on the evening of 12th July.
‘TAF’ as it is affectionately known, has firmly established itself as the must-attend event on the annual South African art calendar by offering visitors an opportunity to view and buy quality artwork from emerging and established talent all curated within the heritage building of Turbine Hall, Newtown
“The purpose of Turbine Art Fair is to develop young artists and grow the market for African art. RMB shares our vision and this partnership will help to elevate art collecting across a wider market, strengthening the greater creative economy,” says Glynis Hyslop, founder of Turbine Art Fair and MD of The Forum Company.
Not only is it all about art, but there is amazing with yummy artisanal food and beverages, vibrant music and an interactive Talks Programmes on the go too.
Another cool point that we love about TAF is its accessible pricing strategy. The selling price of art works generally falls between R 1000 and R50 000, which presents opportunities to savvy investors and new buyers to extend their collections easily, and for new artists to thrive off this talent platform. Yes to growing new legions of fans and supporting up and coming artists!
The line-up of happenings at RMB Turbine Art Fair 2018 is jam packed with must-attend talks, walkabouts, special exhibitions within the Fair, Installations, jazz and delicious food and drink produced by The Forum Company and much more.
Adult tickets are R 100 online and R 120 at the door. There are kiddie’s tickets and VIP opening tickets available too.
