MABUTA is a five - piece instrumental band from Johannesburg. Their sound incorporates elements of energetic live jazz, electronic music and world music colours. Featuring Shane Cooper on basses, Bokani Dyer on keyboards, Marlon Witbooi on drums, Sisonke Xonti on tenor sax, and Robin Fassie-Kock on trumpet.  Their live shows are known to be epic journeys through heavy groove spaces as well as cinematic dreamscapes.

Sakhile Ndlazi aka DJ Bubbles first came onto the scene "when house tunes were still being played at coastal restaurants and distinguished hot spots around Gauteng." Since then he's become a legendary addition to the local hip hop and house scenes who has worked with the country's most talented, at the same time garnering much respect abroad. He has often been described as someone with drive, a real love for music, and purveyor of consistent quality especially via his label Urban Touch Recordings. Bubbles is a man who has earned his spot in the love music hall of fame, always remaining true to himself.   

 

FiFI THE RAIBLASTER

Fifi the Raiblasters live shows are an intricately crafted voyage through her ideas and music, fusing live indigenous instruments and digital sounds to create a lush backdrop on which Fifi paints her voyerous stories to the listener.

My Neighbours Wife is a Johannesburg based trio that draws their influences from the New York busking scene. Their performances are in the style of a free-flowing ‘jam’ or ‘busking’ session performing top 40 hits from past and present all within the pop, hip-hop, drum and bass and house music styles.
