The Turbine Art Fair (TAF)  is a platform for galleries, artists, curators and other art organisations to promote emerging and established talents in an accessible and enjoyable way. In doing this the fair aims to promote new work and talent and to create a new art audience and collector base.

The Turbine Art Fair takes place at the iconic Turbine Hall in Newtown. It attracts a diverse crowd of visitors ranging from established collectors to guests who have never purchased art but are interested in finding out more and starting a collection. The fair is a lifestyle event with live music performances, delicious food and drinks offerings and entertainment for the whole family.

Attendees of this exciting art fair had the opportunity to fulfil both their art-viewing and art-buying needs whilst the pop up cafe and bar catered for their discerning
taste buds.

Turbine Art Fair would not be possible without the support of corporate partners, who share our commitment to producing South Africa’s first accessible and emerging contemporary art fair.  The involvement of these partners are varied and each contributes enormously to the success of the show and the expansion of the projects available to public viewing each year.
